Hi, I’m JD - a director, photographer, and producer based in Los Angeles.
I’ve worked across all kinds of productions, from directing scripted content for BRAT TV to supporting editorial shoots and brand campaigns for Marie Claire and Who What Wear.
I’m a production Swiss Army knife!
Quick on my feet, good with people, and always ready to solve a problem.
I care a lot about clear communication, staying calm, and keeping things collaborative and intentional.
Outside of work, I love camping, DJing, and taking any excuse to hit the road with a camera and a cooler in the backseat!

As a Team Lead at Dust Studios, I managed my team while dialing in my lighting skills, working with strobes, LEDs, and Capture One tethered workflows.

While at Brat TV, I directed and produced a wide range of scripted and unscripted content for Gen Z audiences, working closely with social media managers and brand leads to develop culturally relevant campaigns and performance driven activations.

I’ve served as a freelance producer & Coordinator, overseeing logistics, budgets, and creative execution for digital and print campaigns featuring A list talent.

DJing started as a hobby and turned into producing live events. I’ve planned and played pride events, retreats, and pool parties with a mix of tech house, and afro latin house, I pack USBs like I pack a cooler: carefully, with vibes in mind.
